As a caregiver, it's natural to feel constantly:
...pulled in a million directions
...worried you're not doing enough
...petrified you're making the wrong decisions
...angry that life is not what you expected it to be
...guilty for wanting to take time for yourself
I felt all of those things when I cared for my mother, who lost her 10-year battle with Alzheimer's in 2019. But I also learned a lot, and it spurred my desire to become a certified life coach. I now pull from personal and professional experience to gently guide you toward a more stable, sustainable path—one that allows you to be fully present and loving toward yourself and those you care for.
All anyone wants is control over their goals and the tools to achieve them. But the process of identifying the necessary action plan can seem so daunting, we often stop before even taking the first step.
That’s where I can help. Together, we can reveal the self-awareness you need to move forward. Getting better sleep, eating more healthy, making time to exercise, finding joy in life—it’s all doable when you know how. I’ll use your input and your personal motivators to develop a supportive, nurturing program that gently pushes you out of your comfort zone and increases your level of life satisfaction.
The challenges facing homeschooling families are unique: how to keep kids motivated without the pressure of a traditional classroom. How to keep parents motivated without the support of a traditional classroom! How to stay organized. How to stay focused. How to enrich the experience to make it one of the most rewarding of a child’s life.
When I dove into homeschooling my son, I leaned heavily on my Montessori training. I created practical, hands-on learning encounters and set them in a nurturing, productive, home-classroom environment. I focused on my son as an individual and embraced the independent learning homeschooling affords.
I now use what I’ve learned to guide my clients to do the same. We’ll explore powerful questions that will help you define (or reframe) your approach and make homeschooling a wonderfully worthwhile endeavor for your entire family.
