I teach yoga because I love to move.
I teach yoga to children because they love to move.
Children are naturally curious, open, and full of energy — and yoga gives them a powerful way to connect with their bodies, calm their minds, and build confidence from the inside out. Whether it's in schools, at birthday parties, or private events, I create fun, age-appropriate classes that help children stretch, breathe, laugh, and grow.
The children themselves guide every class I teach. I listen closely — not just to what they say, but to how they move and express themselves — and shape each session to reflect their needs and interests.
No matter the age, every class includes breathing techniques and mindfulness woven with playful movement — all rooted in respect, kindness, patience, and love.
With two decades of experience teaching yoga and movement to children, I’ve worked with all ages and developmental stages. My classes have been a part of life at preschools and elementary schools throughout Montgomery County, Maryland — always joyful, always intentional, and always centered on helping children thrive physically, emotionally, and socially.
